Cirella di Diamante

Virtual Reality

The Ruins of Cirella are the remains of the ancient village of Cirella, located on a hill, at an elevation of approximately 172 meters.

The ancient center was built starting from 850, during the Lombard era, on a hilltop to protect the population from constant Saracen raids. It was definitively abandoned in 1808, after being destroyed by the French troops under General Massena.

The ruins are not currently physically accessible, so the Municipality of Diamante has commissioned Officina Kreativa to create a virtual museum.

The museum in question allows virtual visits to the ruins, interaction with the environment, and the opportunity to have a unique experience enriched by a virtual scenography within the museum, created using architectural video mapping techniques.

Below, you can watch a trailer of the activities carried out.
